![]() ![]() A while back I was bounced around from the Age of Empires forum to Xbox gaming support to some Microsoft pages with outdated email addresses, each pointing at another in a cyclical failure. This has been incredibly frustrating every step of the way and every time I feel I'm getting close to a solution something else crops up, and it appear as if there's no willing human interaction from ESO's side. Does this work in the same way to protect against people like me who forgot their password?Īny help on this would be appreciated. I saw somewhere that GTA V players can't refresh their CD keys and such in order to protect against cheating. The new copy was activated, and I went to check and found that my old copy was still attributed to my account with the purchase date being 2012, and the new copy is bolted on as an expansion listed as purchased today in 2021. I went along with the steps to remove the old copy from my steam library through the support page rather than just uninstalling. Quick backstory, I've been trying to recover my password for my ESO account a few times a year for the past three years.Ī friend of mine has seen my struggle and gifted me with a product key that I can activate so as to make a new multiplayer account.
